Carbon RX and GRNX Global Drive Real World Asset Innovation with Blockchain-Based Carbon Measurement and Payments for Farmers
November 13, 2025
For Immediate Release
Regina, Saskatchewan – Carbon RX Inc. (‘Carbon RX’) has entered into a strategic service agreement with GRNX Global (‘GRNX’), to develop a targeted carbon measurement, reporting, and verification system that will layer onto the GRNX Global farmer digital payout system. This agreement signals the next step for the companies’ partnership, aimed at creating a market gateway for Canadian regenerative agricultural carbon credits in both domestic and international markets, namely Japan.
“Our experience in Layer 2 carbon credit blockchain development is highly complementary to GRNX’s digital platform,” said Marty Seymour, CEO of Carbon RX. “We think the GRNX digital ledger platform and real-time payment system is the framework through which we can build a quality carbon program. Japan has always been a highly valued market for Canadian goods, and we intend to unlock additional value for farmers.”
Under the agreement, Carbon RX will leverage its experience in protocol development to help streamline carbon credit generation for Canadian grain farmers. This includes ISO-aligned methodologies, real-time carbon impact tracking, and automated credit origination integrated with GRNX’s blockchain infrastructure. The initiative will allow both companies to capitalize on growing global demand for high-quality, nature-based carbon credits, while delivering direct financial benefits to farmers through transparent, performance-based payouts.
“We have a deep understanding of grain trade and how to apply blockchain solutions to solve payment issues for farmers,” notes Jason Dearborn, CEO of GRNX Global. “We were looking for a technical solution to leverage our expertise in digital assets and take advantage of the emerging interest in carbon monitoring and reporting. We are confident our market solution will create more revenue for the entire value chain.”
The collaboration has potential to open up additional revenue for qualifying farms and strengthen Canada’s position in the voluntary carbon market with customers like Japan.
