Carbon RX Announces, The Inaugural Global First Nations Carbon Summit
Regina, Saskatchewan – Carbon RX Inc. (“Carbon RX”) announces they will be the presenting sponsor of the first ever Global First Nations Carbon Summit (“Summit”).
“This Summit, featuring First Nations Carbon Sovereignty, is a very significant achievement. The most relevant conversations in our society today are centred on Indigenous inclusion and climate change. A conference that brings these two topics into one room and assembles the brightest minds to discuss the opportunities that lay before us, is something I proudly support,” says Lionel Kambeitz, Founder and Executive Chairman, Carbon RX.
The Global First Nations Carbon Summit will take place on Treaty 4 Land, in Regina, Saskatchewan on October 3, 2022. The Summit will include a series of high-powered speakers featuring topics on carbon reduction strategies, the role of First Nations in the carbon economy, and the importance of First Nations environmental sovereignty. These joining of these concepts is the basis of “Indigenomics”, which sets to return First Nations to access a modern economy while maintaining a traditional way of life.

In addition to the local attendees, the Summit is expected to draw an international audience through its video broadcast via Zoom
“We have already had interest from the UK, EU, United States and beyond based on the depth and quality of the program. From government officials to corporations to Chief and Councils in the most remote parts of Canada, everyone seems to want in on what’s in store at this Summit,” commented Sheldon Wuttunee Chief Executive Officer, Saskatchewan First Nations Natural Resource Centre of Excellence.
